It all begins with a “stroke.” Well, I know what you are thinking. A brush stroke. You can’t start painting without a stroke. What I mean is I had never painted in my life until I had a stroke. At age 43! It’s a long story so I won’t bore you with the details but as part of my rehabilitation my fabulous sister, Tisha Wood, helped me get started with painting. During my first lesson I asked, “What should I do first?” Well, the advice she gave me was to put the brush in the paint then put the paint on the paper. And that was the beginning of a my new painting exprience.
